• • Original title of graduate/graduate in Medicine. In the case of not having it, accrediting certification from the corresponding university of the completion of the Medicine studies and proof of payment of the rights of the issuance of the title

  • ID.

  • Two passport-size photographs (they can be taken at the Alicante Official Institutions of Physicians).

  • Bank account number for direct debit of membership receipts. We have exclusive advantages for your group with Banco Sabadell.

  • Certificate of Crimes of a Sexual Nature.

  • In the case of practicing the profession privately, you must present the following:

    • Affiliation to the Special Scheme for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) and/or affiliation to the corresponding mutual society.

    • Registration in the census of professionals of the State Tax Administration Agency.

  All documents must be originals or digitally signed documents or notarized copies. The College may request any other documents or requirements deemed necessary or appropriate by the Institution of Physicians of Alicante.

   

• • Bachelor’s degree/graduate in Medicine, which must be accompanied by the document of the resolution of recognition of the same to practice in Spain – credential of community value (Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality) or certified/authenticated copy by the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality.
  • If you have a specialist degree, you must present it together with the document of the resolution of recognition of the same to practice in Spain – community value credential – (Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality) or certified / authenticated copy by the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality.
  • Passport or document proving the identity and nationality of the applicant, issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin or provenance.
  • Foreigner Identification Document by the competent Spanish authorities in immigration matters (NIE).
  • Two passport-size photographs (they can be taken at the Alicante Official Institution of Physicians).

  • Certificate of Crimes of a Sexual Nature.
  • In the case of practicing the profession privately, you must submit the following:
    • Affiliation to the Special Scheme for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) and/or affiliation to the corresponding mutual society.
    • Registration in the census of professionals of the State Tax Administration Agency.
  • Certification issued by an official body legalized through diplomatic channels of not being or having been disqualified from practicing Medicine (original and translation into Spanish). This certificate will be valid for 3 months (country of origin). This certification will only be necessary if it is the first membership or if more than three months have elapsed from the date of withdrawal from another College.
  • Certificate of sufficient knowledge of the Spanish language / or of the corresponding CCAA, where appropriate. (Annex III and Second Additional Provision of RD 459/2010).

  All documents must be duly validated/certified/legalized through diplomatic channels and, where appropriate, they will be accompanied by a sworn translation. The College may request any other documents or requirements deemed necessary or appropriate by the Institution of Physicians of Alicante.

  • Document of homologation of the title of graduate / graduate in Medicine (Ministry of Education).
  • If you have a specialist title, you must present it together with the corresponding document of approval. (Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality, prior official resolution of its Evaluation Committee RD 459/2010).
  • Passport or document proving the identity and nationality of the applicant, issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin or provenance.
  • Foreigner Identification Document by the competent Spanish authorities in immigration matters (NIE).

The College may request any other documents or requirements deemed necessary or appropriate by the Institution of Physicians of Alicante.

• • Work permit: if you are a non-EU foreigner, whether you are going to work for yourself or for someone else, you must obtain the administrative work permit or authorization prior to starting the activity, it not being enough to start the work to have the college. You must provide a photocopy to the Institution as soon as you obtain it.
  • Exercise as a specialist doctor to practice the profession with that character of a specialist doctor, use that name or hold a job as such: it is necessary to have an official title of specialist doctor issued by the Ministry of Education, or duly approved foreign title in Spain by means of a credential from the Ministry of Education.
